Farmers Markets
We are honored to be among the producers at the first Slow Foods International Earthmarket in the United States. This market, hosted by the Greenville chapter of Slow Foods USA, requires its vendors to go through a stringent selection process to insure that their products are clean (no GMOs, pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, etc.), fair and humanely produced. The market meets on the third Thursday of the month beginning in May and going through September. There are two additional 'Holiday Markets' in November and December. Look for us on the lawn in front of the Michael McDunn Gallery at 741 Rutherford Road in Greenville, SC.
On Farm Sales
Meats: We have cuts and sausage from our pasture-raised, Animal Welfare certified, and USDA processed Pineywoods or Dutch Belted beef. All meats are frozen and vacuum-packed and will ship well.
Navajo Churro Wool: Churro wool is great for beginning spinners and felts well. Yarn, roving and raw fleece from our
Navajo-Churro sheep are all in
stock. Raw fleece is $15/lb and roving is $2.00/oz or $1.75/oz for 4+ ounces. Handspun
yarn can be purchased from our existing supply or custom spun for $8 an
ounce. We have several natural colors of wool to choose from.
Eggs: During the 'off' season our laying hens slow down, but do not stop production altogether. We sell our free range eggs for $4/dozen at the farm, but do please call to check availability before heading out.
